A successful project in any discipline depends on many factors including employing the best project management practices throughout a project’s lifecycle.  Automation and software development projects benefit from making project management an integral part of the overall initiative to achieve successful results.  All projects which IAS is contracted are managed by Certified Project Managers to ensure projects are implemented on time and in budget.  We have incorporated project management as a core competency and continue to update our knowledgebase and methodology alongside our engineering expertise.

The complexity of automation projects and custom software development lends itself well to using Project Management methodology to underpin success.  It has been shown that without integrating Project Management into a project’s structure many will fail to meet specifications, stray from established time constraints, or contain a scope creep that inevitably works its way into projects.  We have developed a Client Project Portal that allows tight coordination and interaction through a web-based Project Management Suite giving our customers

The software tool alone is not sufficient to meet IAS’s high standards and is used as a supplement to active management and participation from our Project Managers and the Project Team.
