IAS started producing conformal coating machines in 1998 as an extension of the Paint Line Supply Company. Current machines have been re-designed for today's market, and designs are continuously updated to incorporate the latest technology, making the IAS product more flexible and reliable than any other conformal coating machine available.
IAS’ premier designs involve high volume dip coating applications, mainly used in the automotive industry for conformal coating application to control circuit boards. The volumes of a single type of board are typically in the range of 1.5 - 2.5 million per year where dip coating remains the most efficient method of application, from both a time per board and machine care and maintenance standpoint.
As micro processors become smaller and the pin lead spacing is reduced, the need to protect the electrical pathways from condensation and environmental stresses is paramount to product longevity. In recent years industry attempted to eliminate the conformal coating process in the manufacture of circuit boards. This has had very limited success, particularly in the automotive industry. Based on years of in-use testing, the consensus among industry leaders is that the conformal coating process is the most efficient method of protection.
Conformal coating shall invariably be needed for future products. IAS conformal coating machines can be an integral part of your reliable product.
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
IAS draws from years of experience in factory automation to deliver quality products designed by recognized experts in the industry. It uses the extensive knowledge base provided by experiences in manufacturing and usage of conformal coating equipment.
IAS was founded on the principal of dedicated service to customers. Today’s quality demands require specially engineered machines that are dedicated to meeting customers’ needs. Using the latest available technology IAS is able to meet any conformal coating requirements. It’s extensive experiences with the automotive, hydraulic, and mechanical industries enable IAS to be on the cutting edge of bore sizing.
IAS designs and manufactures conformal coating equipment ranging from single station manual load/unload to fully automated high volume machines. All are designed with continuous customer interaction to deliver a custom designed solution for a variety of automation needs.
INSTALLATIONS
IAS/Paint Line Supply Company have installed machines around the world, has experience meeting regional regulations (i.e. EU), and familiarity with building equipment for use with Hazardous Materials.
Many IAS installations have been in the automotive industry for customers such as Delphi, Ford, Visteon Electronics, Hella Electronics, Motorola, and Honeywell.
All IAS conformal coating machines are supported remotely using direct communication with the equipment including a one year on-site diagnostic.
